The teacher was impressed that she could speak both languages so fluently, but she didn’t question it. “Okay Fallia, we are going to start the lesson now, so you may sit down and open your ABC123 Books.” Fallia sat down in an empty seat and opened her book. “Emily, can you please read the alphabet from the book?” Emily nodded and read aloud the alphabet, meanwhile Fallia scrolled through the book and answered all the questions.

Failla murmured. “Well, is there anything I can do? I finished the book…” The teacher was surprised. “Really? Well, let me have a look. Kids, work on the page with the patterns.” Fallia walked up to Ms. Eidi and showed her the textbook. Ms. Eidi flipped the pages, surprised that she did everything right. “Very well done. Would you like to read a Dr. Seuss book?” Fallia shook her head. “No thank you, I already read them all. Besides, they are rally easy to read anyway.”

I feel like I should have at least started reading it by now, but I would love to start.” Ms. Eidi handed her a copy of The Odyssey, and only said five words. “Tell me when you’re done.” Fallia got to reading and read fifty pages that day. She went home with the copy of The Odyssey in her Hello Kitty backpack. “How was your first day?” Her mother said when she picked her up from school.
