One day, for the first time in a while, Mr. Walter and Mr. Elliot met at the central shed. “It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, don’t you think, John?” asked Mr. Walter. “Not really. Two years isn’t a whole lot.” Mr. Elliot shrugged. He walked out the door and to the garden. Then, he went in his pocket and pulled out a rusty set of black keys, and unlocked the green garden door. Mr. Walter took a peek inside of the garden, and there, he saw a wonderland.
Meanwhile, little Sage stayed in a hammock in the garden. She was under a green apple tree, and picked one off and ate it. It was sour, but it was a nice apple. She finished the apple and walked all the way back to their home near the garden to through in the compost bin. Then, she grabbed a watering can and went outside. she went to their water barrel and scooped some water, and then went to water the plants. She watered the tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, and some flowers. Her arms were aching!

It was so small and adorable, so she put her watering can on the ground and followed it. the bird went up in the sky, up the tree, so Sage climbed up the tree to see what was there. “Oh, some eggs! Nice,” Sage thought, and she noticed a little crack in one of the eggs. She looked carefully into the nest, and the bird was breaking out of its shell with its little beak.

Her mom gave in and started making the pizza. Sage went to watch TV and watched Squarebob Spongepants for a little bit. Finally, the pizza was ready and Sage quickly went outside. She picked a few flowers and put them in a vase. The flowers reflected the sunset, and the family ate their dinner.
